Martha Benzle

Martha Benzle, 92, of Hilton Head Island, SC died June 26, 2013 at Fraser Medical Center on Hilton Head Island. She was born on December 14, 1920 in Lakewood, Ohio the daughter of the late Horace and Amarhyllis Leach Munhall. She lived in Cleveland, Ohio for many years until moving to Hilton Head Island in 1973. She was a homemaker and brought up 5 good kids. She enjoyed playing golf and was an artist who worked in watercolors, painting still life and landscapes. She was a member of Bluffton United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Arthur G. Benzle, Jr. of Hilton Head Island, SC; sons Arthur George Benzle (Linda) of Bluffton, SC, Curtis M. Benzle (Wendy) of Huntsville, AL, Eric B. Benzle (Robin) of Bay Village, OH, Christopher E. Benzle (Tracey) of Maple Glen, PA; daughter Gail Reese (John) of Greenwich, CT; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10am, Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Bluffton United Methodist Church, 101 Calhoun Street, Bluffton, SC 29910.
