Martha Crockett

Martha Crockett died April 29, 2024 at Bloom at Belfair Memory Care. She was born June 16, 1936 in Clovis, NM. She was the daughter of her late parents Jessie Comer and Vivian Lane Comer and was raised in Frederick, OK. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Charles Crockett. They were happily married for 62 years. She and her husband lived in many places spanning 7 states then moved to Sun City-Hilton Head in 2008 after living in Lexington, KY for 28 years. She leaves behind a daughter, Diana Crockett Korinek, son-in-law Kurt Korinek of Hilton Head Island, SC and a beloved grandson, Skyler Korinek of Bluffton, SC. Martha also leaves behind many extended family members in Hawaii, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Martha had many talents and started her own successful craft business “Designs By Martha” which included painted woodwork items, ornaments and wooden toys, trucks and cars made by Chuck aka “Woodchuck”. She also taught Print master computer graphic classes and became a computer consultant to help people get up and running with their new computers and printers when wi-fi was first introduced.

She was a social butterfly and enjoyed playing Bridge, Canasta and Bunco with family and friends. She always had a smile or compliment to give. When she became a victim of dementia, she remained happy and sweet and never forgot a familiar face.

Sauls Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of funeral services which will be private. Donations may be made to Crescent Hospice of Bluffton or to a Humane Society or Animal Rescue center of your choice.
