Martin John Ornatowski, Jr.

Martin John Ornatowski, Jr. passed away at 82 years old on February 28, 2025 at home in Bluffton, SC, surrounded by his family. He was born December 16, 1942 in Omer, MI and married his high school sweetheart, Darlene Ornatowski (Moll). He was a loving father to Rhonda Myers, Rachel (Reggie) Glon, Mitchell (Kim) Ornatowski, Regina Ornatowski, Rena (Dave) Alexander, and a loving grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle to all his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Martin moved to Edwardsburg, MI and worked in the RV business for 30+ years in Elkhart, IN. This led to successful ownership in the RV business, notably Sebring Homes, which he and his wife ran together for many years.

Martin was hard-working, but he also liked to take time to go hunting and fishing. And oh, could he tell those stories about the ones that got away! In the last ten years, he enjoyed time with his granddaughter, Emma Joan and seeing his great-grandchildren on Facetime. He loved seeing all the pictures everyone sent, wishing he could be with each and every one of you.

In addition to his wife and children, Martin is survived by his siblings, John (Carol) Ornatowski, Ray (Kathleen) Ornatowski, and Rita (Jim) Lewandowski. He was preceded in death by Rosie (Frank) Zuziak, Benny (Phyllis) Ornatowski, and Eugene (Marion Elaine) Ornatowski.

Dad, we will miss you! You were always someone we could count on, and although you were a straight shooter, you always got your point across without judgement and gave all the best advice. Because of you, we are strong and have the best work ethic. We are all better people, Dad, because of you. We will always love you and keep you close to our hearts.
