Mary D. Bernardo

Mary D. Bernardo, 94 of Bluffton and formerly of Stratford, CT passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Hospice Savannah, GA. She was the widow of Anthony L. Bernardo. She was born in Bridgeport, CT on September 8, 1919 to the late Mike Gomzi and Marie Preyner Gomzi. She was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She is survived by her son Anthony P. Bernardo, Sr. (Mary) of Bluffton, SC; her daughter, Sandra Micalizzi (Sal) of Bluffton, SC; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Friday, January 24, 2014 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Rd., Bluffton. Memorial gifts in memory of Mary D.
