Mary Elizabeth 'Betty' Davis Smith

Mary Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Davis Smith, 92 of Grays, SC and widow of Louie Grover Smith Sr. passed away on November 16, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Smith was born in Ridgeland, SC on September 29, 1925 to the late Glen Davis and Ruby Ann Smith. She was retired as a Supervisor from Palmetto Electric Co-op. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church for her lifetime. In addition to her husband Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her son, L G Smith Jr and his wife Ann. She is survived by her sister, Jennie V Smith of Ridgeland, SC; her grandsons, L. Grover Smith III (Elisha) and Wade Stanley Smith all of Grays and her great grandchildren, Louie Grover IV, Logan, Sydney, Christopher and Jordan. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, Grays with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm until the hour of the service at the church.
