Mary Barthelmess Blakewood passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at NHC Health Care in Bluffton, SC. She was born on September 20, 1917 in Savannah, GA. She wasThe widow of Wilbur I. Blakewood who was also a native of Savannah. She is survived by three daughters; Sharon Pearson (Larry) of Duluth, GA, Marsha Brown (Larry) of Bluffton, SC and Joan Taylor (Ed) also of Bluffton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
