Mary “Mae” Doyle

Mary “Mae” Doyle, 73, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Warwick, NY died Monday, April 03, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, GA. Mrs. Doyle was born on July 14, 1943 in Bangor Erris, Ireland, the daughter of the late Willie Carey and Bridget Ruddy Carey. Mae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend as well as a caregiver to many children in Warwick, NY. She was a member of the Warwick Country Club and Warwick Golf Club and was active in the Sun City community while living in Bluffton. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed reading. Mrs. Doyle is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, James “Jim” Doyle; daughter, Denise M. Bresadola; son, Kevin J. Doyle; brothers, Paddy, Johnny, Liam, Chris, and Dennis Carey; and grandchildren, Connor, Emma, Henry, Brendan, Liam, and Madeline. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 31 St. Gregory Drive, Bluffton, SC 29909.
