Mary Ellen Myers Vance, 62, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at her home in Hardeeville, SC.She was born in Glendale, WV on April 8, 1948 to Helen Dolan Myers and the late Raymond Myers .She was a Professional Housekeeper. She was a Christian.She is survived by her mother, Helen D. Myers of Shadyside, Ohio; husband, Herbert R. Vance of Hardeeville, SC; three sons, Herbert Baxter Vance and Herbert Reece Vance, III, both of Hardeeville, SC; Harmon Lyndal Vance of Bloomingdale, GA; three daughters, Linda Lorraine Harris of Camden, SC; Elizabeth Marie (Andrew) Ellis of Beaufort, SC; Georgette Vance (Michael) Barnett of Springfield, GA; brother, Gerald (Darlene) Bruce of Bannock, OH; two sisters, Vickie (Jamie) Morrison of Jacobsburg, OH; Georgia Hamilton of Glen Dale, WV; grandchildren, Christy Adams, Mack Graham, Katherine V. Willis, Ariel Harris, Randy Harris, Joshua Harris, Brandon Vance, Kristin Vance and Madison Vance; great grandchildren, Paige Collins, Chase Adams, Olivia Adams and Hayden Williams. She was preceded in death by sister, Nancy Ivkovick. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St. in Beaufort, SC. A visitation will be held from 6 til 8 pm , Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St. in Ridgeland, SC.
