Mary Louise Paolino

Mary Louise Paolino (age 85) of Bluffton, SC, and formerly of Seekonk, Massachusetts, went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2022. Her final days were spent surrounded by those whom she loved and who loved her dearly. Born in Cranston, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Orlando and Mary Recchia and sister of the late Richard Recchia.

Mary Lou's capacity for love, devotion to her family, and energy for life lit up the room.  Her quiet, gentle patience and her selflessness are her legacy. Her family admired her as a Godly woman who was never afraid to stand for what was right. She loved her country and valued her freedom. She passed her appreciation and gratefulness for nature on to her children. She loved sports, being an avid tennis player and a golfer and a member of Crestwood Country Club in Rehoboth, Massachusetts for 25 years.

Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Edward, and by her three daughters, Giana (Timothy), Julianne (Theodore), and Lisanne (Joe). She is also survived by her grandchildren Andrew, Talia, Teddy, Ashley, Marina, Krissa, Christien, Alessia, and Sydnie who lovingly called her "Mimi."

Her family already misses the lovely sound of her piano keys but takes great comfort in knowing that she is playing for the Lord now in heaven.

A Catholic mass will be held for her at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Bluffton, SC on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements made by Sauls Funeral Home, https://www.saulsfh.com.
