Mary Laverne Rooker

Mary Laverne Rooker, 50, of Bluffton, SC passed away on January 27, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA. She was born in Aiken, SC on August 25, 1961. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary Pinckney Richardson. She was a homemaker who loved gardening and crafts. She loved her grandchildren and she was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Rooker; son, Scott Rooker of Bluffton, SC; daughter, Ashley (Louis) Prescott of Bluffton, SC; two brothers, Brian (Robin) Richardson of Early Branch, SC and Ronald Richardson of Charleston, SC; and grandchildren, Lindi Rooker, Haley Rooker, and Lilah Prescott. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrews Chapel, 220 Pinckney Colony Rd. Bluffton, SC 29909, at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 31, 2012. The family will receive friends at St. Andrews Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on January 30, 2012. A wake service will be held at 6:30. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Lowcountry Memorial Gardens, 90 Simmonsville Rd. Bluffton, SC 29910.Sauls Funeral Home is assisting the family with their arrangements.
