Mary Anne Swaine, beloved wife of Francis G. Swaine, passed away at her home in Bluffton on October 20, 2017. Mary Anne was the proud, loyal, and adoring wife of Frank Swaine, retired from the New York Yankees Organization. Formerly of Garden City, Long Island, New York.

Mary Anne was born in York, PA on May 16,1935 to the late John Keith Williams and Mary Elizabeth Adam's Williams. Mary Anne was a faithful member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church; devoted to her husband, children, family and especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 59 ½ years, Mary Anne is survived by her daughters, Dianne Crowe (Larry), Susan Dolan (Tom Menten) and Mary Kate Doyle (Michael Fitzpatrick); Suzanne Swaine, wife of the late John Francis Swaine; her brother, Thomas Williams (Vivian); her brother in law, Tom Collins; her sister in law, Marion Williams; her brother in law, Arthur Swaine (Bernadette); her sister in law, Margaret (Peggy) Walsh (Richard); her grandchildren, Sarah Swaine, Brian Dolan, Emily Swaine, John Crowe, Mary Crowe, John T. Doyle and Hannah Swaine; and her great-grandchild, A.J. Crowe. She was preceded by her son, John Francis Swaine, broker for Cantor & Fitzgerald who perished on 9/11/01; her brother, John Williams; her sister, Catherine Collins and her sister in law, Patricia Szabo.

A Catholic mass burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Monday, October 30, 2017 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 38 Saint Gregory Drive, Bluffton with burial at 1:00 pm in Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC.
