Maryann Pinckney Richardson

Maryann Pinckney Richardson, 71 of Bluffton, SC and widow of Herbert Martin Richardson passed away on June 10, 2011 in the Life Care Center of Hilton Head.She was born in Bluffton, SC on March 18, 1940. She was the daughter of the late William and May Rivers Pinckney.She was an active volunteer with the Guide Dog Foundation, SC Federation Center of the Blind. She was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She loved her family.She is survived by two sons, Brian (Robin) Richardson of Early Branch, SC and Ronald Richardson of Charleston, SC; one daughter, Laverne R. (Donald) Rooker of Bluffton; five brothers, Sydney (Faye) Pinckney of Adamsville, TN, Donnie (Burnette) Pinckney of Ridgeland, SC, Frank (Linda) Pinckney of Savannah, GA, Robert (Charlotte) Pinckney of Warner Robbins, GA and David (Agnes) Pinckney of Bluffton, SC; three grandchildren, Sommer (Robert) Bacon of Ridgeland, SC, William Scott Rooker and Ashley Nicole (Lee) Prescott all of Bluffton, SC and three great grandchildren, Michael Bacon, Lindi Rooker and Lilah Prescott.She was predeceased by one sister, Helen P. Himes and three brothers, Charles Pinckney, Thomas (Bunk) Pinckney and William Pinckney.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrews Chapel, Bluffton, SC at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 with burial in the Pinckney Colony Cemetery.The family will receive friends at St. Andrews Chapel from 6:30 pm til 8:30 pm on Monday, June 13, 2011.
