Maureen Ann Delea Tucker

Maureen Ann Delea Tucker, 70, of Bluffton, SC and wife of Joseph W. Tucker passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2009 in the Hilton Head Medical Center, Hilton Head Island, SC.She was born in Jamaica, New York on November 17, 1938. She was the daughter of the late John Patrick and Marion Greene Delea. She was a school teacher for Middletown School District in Middletown, New York. She was an undergraduate at Queens College and received her masters at State University of New York at New Paltz, New York. She was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church.She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Joseph W. Tucker of Bluffton, SC; one son, Gregory (Susan) Tucker of Las Vegas, Nevada; three daughters, Sharon (Henry) Miller of New Rochelle, NY, Keryn Tucker of Chicago, IL and Megan (Sebastian) Hauer of Chicago, IL; and five grandchildren, Lauren Zaricki, Eileen Tucker, Brett Miller, Sophie Hauer, and Lucie Hauer.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2009.
