Michael Scott Borovich

Michael Scott Borovich, 65, born in Monroe, Michigan passed away on July 30, 2024.

After High School, Mike went to work for the Ford Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan. After several years there he decided to join the United States Navy. Mike was assigned to 5 different Aircraft Carriers throughout his 20-year career. While in the Navy stationed in Mayport, Florida Mike met Linda who would soon become his loving wife of 39 years.

Linda and Mike decided to retire to Sun City Hilton Head, SC. They both enjoyed their many years together here with their family and friends. Mike loved fast cars and loved owning his many corvettes over the years. Mike was a diehard Michigan Wolverines fan and he faithfully followed and cheered his team on every season. Mike got to celebrate the best year ever last year when Michigan won it all for the National Title.

Mike was predeceased by his mother Donna Borovich, father Michael S. Borovich and his loving grandparents, Camilla and Harry Goodnough, Elizabeth and Michael Borovich. Mike as also predeceased by his mother-in-law Rebecca Newton Hardee.

Mike is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Newton Borovich, his two brothers Mark Borovich (Cathy) and Matthew (Matt) Borovich (Ruth). Mike is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Wanda Newton Vilches (Juan) and Ronda Newton Braley (Edward) and his two nephews, Jacob Braley and Joshua Braley.

Sauls Funeral Home (Bluffton, SC) is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to St. Jude in honor of Michael Borovich. The family will have a private graveside funeral at a later date.
