Michael Joseph Cofield

Michael Joseph Cofield III, 81 of Bluffton, SC passed away at his home on January 4, 2013.He is survived by his wife, Rose Cofield of Bluffton.He served in the United States Army where he was a qualified paratrooper in the 325 regiment of the 82nd airborne division and was based at Fort Bragg, NC. He remained active in support of airborne affairs. He was a charter member of the Ben Vandervoort chapter of the 82nd airborne division association.Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton with burial at noon in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.The family requests memorial gifts be made in memory of Michael Joseph Cofield III to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, P.O.
