Michael Raymond Desimone

Michael R. DeSimone, 48 of Bluffton, SC passed away unexpectedly at Coastal Carolina Hospital, Hardeeville on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. He was born in Wise, VA on August 6, 1966 to Ramona Rife DeSimone and the late Joseph DeSimone. Mike graduated from Jenkins High School and received a Bachelors degree from EKU. He was the owner/operator of PPI, Elite Pools and Spas and Wild Cat Waste and Recycling Solutions. Mike enjoyed U.K. Basketball; huge Kentucky Derby fan; wine and dinners with friends and family. He enjoyed spending time with his wife in Napa Valley, CA, Asheville, NC, Jacksonville, FL and Key West, FL. He was the beloved husband of Natalee Danik DeSimone and the father of daughter, Carly. Mike is survived by a sister, Teresa DeSimone who he dearly loved and brothers, Gregg and Jeff of Lexington, KY and Steve of Hilton Head and an uncle, Roy James Rife of Bluffton; one surviving aunt, Betty Huffman of Madison Heights, Michigan, and nieces and nephews, Kimberly Chapman, Candace Taylor, Austin, Adam, Alex, Justin, Derrick, Sophie, Steve and Sydney DeSimone, Michael, Jonathan and Harrison Chapman and Preston Taylor. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton.
