Michael P. Di Donato

Michael P. Di Donato passed away peacefully with his family at his side on July 26 ^th , 2021.    Mickey was born in Yonkers, NY on June 15, 1935.  He loved to read, ride his bicycle and travel with his wife of 64 years.  He was a Medic in the Army and served in Korea.  He was a Union Electrician and retired in 1993.  He moved from North Salem, NY to South Carolina in December 2005 and enjoyed the good life for many years.  He is survived by his Wife Barbara Di Donato, Son Michael Di Donato, Daughter Susan Di Donato, Daughter and Son-in-Law Peggie and Dave Hyatt, Grandson Alex Hyatt and his wife Jennifer Hyatt, Grandson Tom Hyatt and his wife Sarah Hyatt, and 5 Great Grandsons Jace Hyatt, Gavin Hyatt, Caleb Hyatt, Declan Hyatt and Levi Hyatt. He was predeceased by his Parents Michael P. Di Donato, Sr., and  Margaret Di Donato, His Son James B. Di Donato, His sister Millie Whalen and Brother James J. Di Donato.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Friday, July 30, 2021 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Bluffton, SC.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to "Staying Connected" c/o Barbara Di Donato, 80 Holly Ribbons Circle, Bluffton, SC  29909.
