“What a long, strange trip it’s been”-Grateful Dead

Michael John Vignale (MOS-Michael Our Son), born on October 28, 1971, died suddenly August 27, 2024.

Michael had the bluest eyes, the biggest heart, gave the best hugs and loved the West.

Michael had a spirit that was more fitting for a hippie in the 60’s – he was born a little late.

That spirit took Michael from Cincinnati to Colorado to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and his passion for music led to all points between, never to miss a Grateful Dead or Widespread Panic show.

When his parents moved to Hilton Head Island in 1999, Michael followed heading south in 2009. There, he started his business- an entrepreneur at heart, just like his father.

He loved to play golf with his dad and sister- even if he could barely break 100.

Michael is preceded in death by his mother Bonita Rae Vignale. He is survived by his father, John Vignale; sister, Angela (Brett) Harnett; nieces, Madeline (Josh) Jager, and Grace Carroll; great niece, Olivia Rae Jager; Aunts, Regina Burke and Sally Stegall; Uncle, Tom (Karen) Vignale; and many cousins and countless friends. He is also survived by his pup, Jessup Parker Blue and his significant other and loving best friend, Susan Zinn.

Visitation and memorial service will be held Sunday September 15, 2024, 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue Cincinnati Ohio 45232
