Michael Jerome Way Ii

Michael Jerome Way II, "Dawg", age 42, passed away on January 16, 2016 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center, Hardeeville, SC as a result of an accident.

Michael was born in Savannah, GA on October 16, 1973 to Ann Dean Smith and the late Michael Jerome Way I.

Michael was a truck driver with Year Round Pool Company; a member of the Tillman Baptist Church; enjoyed motorcycles and was a member of the Praetorian Guard Riding Club.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Dean Smith of Ridgeland; his wife, Amanda Ziegler Way of Ridgeland; his companion, Kammy Malphrus of Ridgeland; his son, Michael Joseph Way (Mikey) of Ludowici, GA; four daughters, Kayla Shiann Way and Sara Kathryn Way both of Ludowici, GA, MaKenzie Sykes and MaKayla Sykes both of Ridgeland, SC; his brother, Edward McKinley Way of Okatie, SC; his sister, Stefanie Carlin Smith of Ridgeland, SC and his paternal grandmother, Viola Way, (Granny Boots) of Augusta, GA.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1:00 on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Tillman Baptist Church, Tillman, SC. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm at Tillman Baptist Church with burial to follow at Tillman Methodist Church Cemetery.

Friends are invited to participate in the procession from Sauls Funeral Home to Tillman Baptist Church. Procession line up will begin at 11:30 at Sauls Funeral Home, Ridgeland.
