Miguel Hernandez-Martinez

Miguel Hernandez Martinez, 87, of Ridgeland, SC passed away Friday, May 10, 2024 at his home.

Miguel was born December 1, 1936 in Havana, Cuba to Tiburcio Hernandez and Mercedes Martinez Hernandez. Miguel later chose the United States as his home, working tirelessly as a mechanic to provide for his family. He and his wife, Sonia Rodriguez Martinez, raised their children with an education and strong work ethic. He was a wonderful father and loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren unconditionally.

Miguel is survived by his wife, Sonia; son, Miguel Hernandez, Jr. (Yarbell) of FL; daughters, Mercedes Bush (Byron) of Ridgeland and Delma Sebuf (Willy) of FL; grandchildren, Miguel, Manuel, Melissa, Kimberly, and Jennifer; and great-grandchildren, Angelique, Legend, Broolyn, and Jordan.

Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with arrangements.
