Minnie Julia Sitton Lance Mock
Minnie Mock of N. Ft. Myers, Florida, died at the age of 97 in Punta Gorda, Florida on February 25, 2022. Minnie was born in Etowah, N.C. on October 9. 1924 to Arthur and Josephine Sitton. She lived her life in North and South Carolina and Florida.
Minnie lived a full and useful life that centered around her faith, family, home, and church. She was a woman of prayer, loving and nurturing, with a gift for cooking, sewing and quilting. Her life verse was Romans 8:28 and hymn: Blessed Assurance”.
Preceding in death were; her parents, brother, Rev. Frank Sitton, sisters, Mary (Cox), Ruth (Metcalf), Sue (Smith) and Eva (Troutman), and husbands Morris S. Lance and Charles M. Mock, Sr.
Surviving are; brother, Judge Claude (Adijo) Sitton, children, Carolyn (Earl) Lance Brown, Wayne (Debra) Lance, Jim (Christy) Mock, stepchildren; Charles (Judi) Mock, Jr., Jerry (Deb) Mock, Lois Ann (David) Mock Apple; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many dear nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 Adams Street, Ridgeland, SC at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday. March 5, 2022 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland. Burial will follow in Floyd Cemetery, Tillman, S.C.
