Miriam Mills Floyd

Miriam Mills Floyd, 86 of Hardeeville, SC and widow of Ben Earl Floyd passed away at Coastal Carolina Hospital on December 18, 2017. Mrs. Floyd was born in Hardeeville, SC on May 7, 1931 to the late Ben Mills and Lottie Walls Mills. She worked with her husband, Earl Floyd, at Floyd’s Service Center. She was a member of the Hardeeville Church of God; a Walmart Greeter and enjoyed quilting and sewing. She is survived by her children, Gwen Walsh, Karen Monday (Phillip) of Hardeeville, Lorri Gray (Lee) of Caledonia, Mississippi and daughter in law, Sherry Floyd Grant of Walhalla, SC; eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Don Floyd. Funeral services will be held at Noon, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Hardeeville Church of God with burial to follow in Purrysburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am until the hour of the service at the church. Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family.
