Miriam Levinson

Bluffton

Miriam Levinson, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on July 12th, 2024, at the age of 81. She is survived by her devoted and adoring husband Martin, her son Robert and his wife Loren, and her son David and his wife Nessa. She was also the loving grandma to her three grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua and Mathew. Miriam and Marty had been married for over 58 years. In April 1956 during their first meeting at The Inner Circle in New York City, Marty said to Miriam, “I will marry you!” which they did a few months later in January 1966. During her years in Monroe, she worked as an executive secretary for Sony Electronics. After raising their family in Monroe, NY they then retired to Bluffton, SC in 2007 and have enjoyed living in Sun City. In addition to playing cards with friends, Miriam was a master quilter and took great pride in creating intricate quilts of all patterns and designs. Miriam and Marty also loved doing the daily crossword puzzle and Word of the day together. She will be always loved and forever missed.
