Myrtis Brunson Tuten, Yemassee, SCMyrtis Brunson Tuten, 90, widow of Douglas Tuten, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in the Colleton Regional Hospital, Walterboro, SC.She was born in Furman, SC on April 9, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Della Deloach Brunson.She was a retired seamstress for Estill Manufacturing Company and a life member at Stafford Baptist Church.She is survived by her daughter, Jessie M. Davis of Savannah, GA; one brother, Edward Brunson Jr. of Orangeburg, SC; one sister, Frances B. Mason of Furman, SC; four grandchildren, Michelle Nance, Leigh Clifton, Ricky Rankin and Johnny Rankin and six great grandchildren, Shelby, Ryan, Morgan, Davis, Casey and Ricky. She was predeceased by one daughter, Elaine T. Rankin, one brother, William E. Brunson and one sister, Emmie Hadwin.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 11, 2008 at the Stafford Baptist Church Cemetery, Furman, SC.Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
