Nancy Louise Merchant Custer, 76, died Thursday, December 20, 2007 at her home in Bluffton, SC.She was the daughter of the late Harry and Catherine Robertshaw Merchant. She was born in Burrillville, RI on August 2, 1931.She was a retired real estate agent.She is survived by her husband, Vangel L. Custer; one sister in law, Dorothy Merchant of North Smithfield, RI; two brothers in law, Raymond Tancrell and George Custer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur, and her sister, Catherine.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
