Nancy Lee Michaud

Nancy Lee Michaud, age 85, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Stamford, CT died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at home. Mrs. Michaud was born on October 24, 1932 in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Simon D. and Mary Payne Campbell. She was a communicant of St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church where she was active with the choir and the Women of St. Francis, of which she was a Past President. She was also an avid reader and an accomplished cook. Mrs. Michaud is survived by her loving husband of over 67 years, Francis “Skip” Michaud; children, Deborah Michaud of Bluffton, Jeanne Lynn Michaud (Frank Picca) of Bluffton, Raymond Gerard Michaud (Amy) of Wilton, CT, Suzette Michaud-Springer (Rob) of Fayetteville, GA, Frances Marie Pugliese (Charles) of Milford, CT, and Andrew Michaud of Bridgeport, CT; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 3, 2018 at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church, 45 Beach City Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the COPD Foundation or to St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church.
