Nancy Edith Seibert

Nancy Seibert peacefully passed away Monday 10-10-2022. She was 93 years old.

Nancy was born and grew up in Port Chester, NY. During her years growing up, she was very active in The Daughters of The Eastern Star, as her father was a Mason. She achieved several positions as a Daughter of the Easter Star’s local chapter. After completing high school, she continued her education and became an Administrative Assistant. Several of her many talented skills were shorthand and typing. She worked for the Readers Digest and The Delaware Law School, among others along her career. She was fond of playing cards, bridge was her favorite. Nancy enjoyed entertaining and cooking for friends and family especially, her real passion was interior decorating and had a flair for always being in style with her clothing style. She was an avid reader, enjoying a variety of book styles and always had one in her hand. Reading on the beach was her favorite pastime, she was a “beach” person while also playing an occasional round of golf with her friends. Nancy was a perfectionist in every aspect. She met her husband on a blind date and they were married for over 72+ years. Nancy and her husband had 1 son.

She is survived by her husband Bill, son Jeff and his wife Donna, 2 grandsons Brian and Seven and a daughter-in-law Paige.  Nancy always wanted a girl in the family, she got her last wish, as she just became a great grandparent to a beautiful baby girl named Ashla ,1 week prior to her passing who was born in Florida during hurricane Ida. Nancy will be remembered by all who met her. She will be interred at Beaufort National Cemetery - Beaufort, SC
