Nazzereno U. Tancredi

Reno Tancredi, 79, of Bluffton, SC died Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his home. Mr. Tancredi was born on May 16, 1935 in Bronx, NY, the son of the late Emdio Tancredi and Concerta Izzi Tancredi. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a math teacher in Beaufort County for many years. He was a communicant of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and was active with the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Tancredi was preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Boggia and his niece, Barbara Boggia. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Paulette Tancredi; sons, Frank and Anthony Tancredi, both of Bluffton, SC; grandson, Nicholas Tancredi; nieces and nephews, John Boggia, Aldo Boggia, Linda Duncan, and Patty Cerone. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC 29909. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children's Research.
