Nena Lucile Woods Tuten

Lucile W. TutenRidgeland, SCNena Lucile Woods Tuten, 81, widow of Morris Gedis Tuten, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at her home after a long illness.She was born on August 15, 1928 in Ridgeland, SC to the late Milton and Dora Harter Woods.She was a Secretary for SC Highway Dept for many years. She was a lifelong member of Great Swamp Baptist Church in Ridgeland, SC.She is survived by her son, Morris G. (Karen) Tuten, Jr. of Ridgeland, SC; a daughter, Greta Lynne of Okatie, SC and one grandson, Joshua S. (Shelley) Lowther of Beaufort, SC; two brothers, Milton (Susan) Woods and Daniel (Pat) Woods, all of Ridgeland, SC and one sister, Emma Cooler of Okatie, SC. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette W. Vaigneur.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 310 W. Adams Ave., Ridgeland, SC with burial following in The Ridgeland Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.
