Nigel Francis Barton

Nigel Francis Barton, 64, of Bluffton, SC passed away at his home on Thursday, March 4, 2010.He was born in Norwich, England on November 1, 1945. He was the son of the late Alfred and Margaret Keye Barton.He was an Animal Geneticist. He was President of Aviagen and the Unity Church Board. He was Vice President of the Rose Hill Property Owners Association.He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Barton of Bluffton, SC; one son, Mark Barton of Abingdon, London, England; one daughter, Jennifer Giffen of Auckland, New Zealand; two step sons, Tony Sulkoff of Bluffton, SC and Todd Sulkoff of Eugene, Oregon; one stepdaughter, Theresa Bryant of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Michael Barton of Henley of Thames, England; two sisters, Rosimund Hornak of London, England and Victoria Flanagan of Benson, England; and nine grandchildren.A Life Celebration will be held at Colleton Point in Rose Hill Estates, Rose Hill Plantation at 11:00 am, Sunday, March 7, 2010.
