Norman Tallman Rogers, 81, passed away June 18, 2010 at his home in Bluffton, SC.Mr. Rogers was born in Trenton, NJ on December 5, 1928 to the late Norman Tallman Rogers and Nancy Titus Rogers.He was a Labor Relations / Human Resources Manager for the Detroit Free Press Newspaper; a member of The Audubon Society, Meals on Wheels and the Hilton Head Choral Society. He was a US Navy Veteran and he was an Episcopalian. He is survived by his wife, Phoebe Long Rogers of Bluffton, SC; two sons, Ellis Rogers of Waterbury, CT; Coleman (Alison) Rogers of Newton, MA; one daughter, Amy Rogers of Dickerson, MD; brother, L. H. Rogers of Cincinnati, OH; six grandchildren, William (Melanie) Hussong, Christian Hussong, Greer Hussong, Campbell Rogers, Cameron Rogers Corbin (Otis) and Ian Rogers; great granddaughter, Tatum Corbin and great grandson, Liam Hussong. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marion Walton.A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on July 19th at Cornerstone Two in Rose Hill Plantation.
