Odessa Whitman Hartley- Reese

Odessa Hartley ReeseRidgeland, SCOdessa Hartley Reese, 90, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 5, 2012. Born in Waynesboro, Georgia on October 11, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Paul Whitman and the late Mamie Rebb Whitman Sauls. Mrs. Reese grew up in Tillman, SC, moving to Ridgeland when she married in 1939. Mrs. Reese worked for many years as a seamstress at Holiday Wear Factory and as manager of an antique shop. At the time of her retirement, she was employed by Jasper County Senior Citizens as site supervisor at the Ridgeland Center. In earlier years, she was a dedicated member of Euhaw Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, choir member, GA Leader and member of the Women
