Opal Arnold DavisSavannah, GAOpal Arnold Davis, 81, widow of Rufus Davis Jr., died Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at her home in Savannah, GA.She was a native of Baxley, GA and a long time resident of Savannah, GA. She was formerly employed with Union Camp and Williams Seafood. She was a member of Central Christian Church.She is survived by one daughter and son in law, Linda and Bruce Dominy of Savannah; three sons and daughters in law, Marty and Bobbie Marmolejo of Savannah, Terry and Mary Kay Davis of Lincoln, IL and Lionel and Sue of Savannah; grandchildren Bruce (Jamie) Dominy Jr.,Sheila (Derrick) Sturtevant, Jessica Marmolejo, Jason (Erika) Marmolejo, Suzanne (Michael) Bracken, Rebecca, David, Wayne and Amy Marmolejo; great grandchildren, Haley and Hunter Dominy, Taylor Sheppard, Rachel Sturtevant, Cameron Bracken, Tyler and Reagan Marmolejo. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Gilda V. Marmolejo and her son, Wayne F. MarmolejoFuneral Services will be held at 12:30 pm, Friday, August 10, 2007 at the Central Christian Church, 6810 Skidaway Rd., Savannah, GA with burial in the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 am until Noon prior to the service on Friday at the Church. Ministers Terry Davis, Lionel Marmolejo, Fred Brown and Israel Culver will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Marty, Jason and David Marmolejo, Bruce Dominy Jr., Derrick Sturtevant and James Lavin. Memorials may be sent to Hospice House of Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements. (www.saulsfh.com)
