Orville Drew

Mr. Orville Drew, 69, of Ridgeland, SC passed away on November 14, 2016 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Mr. Drew was born on September 9, 1947 in Darlington, SC to the late Walter Henry Drew and Margaret Evelyn Turner Drew. Mr. Drew was a disabled US Army veteran who was wounded during his second tour in Vietnam. Mr. Drew was a champion boxer during his time in the Army and was a star football player at Beaufort High School. He loved his family and enjoyed traveling. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Derrill Drew and Jackie Drew. Mr. Drew is survived by his brother, Leroy Drew (Kay) of Ridgeland and two sisters, Poly Ann Horton (J.R.) of Ridgeland, SC and Carol Watson of Port Royal, SC. There will be a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Ridgeland Cemetery, Ridgeland, SC.. Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with arrangements.
