Ossie L Wyndham

Ossie L. Wyndham, age 81 of Ridgeland passed away on April 4, 2020 at his home after a battle with cancer.

Ossie was born in Summerville, SC on March 27, 1939 to the late Eugene and Mary Wyndham.

Ossie was a butcher by trade who prepared meats creatively for Tuten’s Bi-Rite, Piggly Wiggly of Ridgeland and Harris Teeter of Hilton Head Island.  He was a faithful member of the Ridgeland Advent Christian Church.  He loved watching sports, especially the Clemson Tigers, and Judge Judy on TV.

Ossie is survived by his sons, Brian L. Wyndham of Ridgeland, Mike McBride of Anderson, SC and Johnny McBride of Greenwood, SC; his daughter, Joy McBride Broxton and her husband, Chuck of Ridgeland; his daughter in law, Eleanor Wyndham of Ridgeland; his sister, Cassie Tillery of Lakeland, FL; his grandchildren, Tammy, Troy and Bonnie Fogle, Franci, Nick (Cheyann), and Zack Wyndham, Nicole McBride, Amy, Dexter, Johnny, Brandy, Stephanie, Michael, Joseph, Jacob, Caleb, Rebecca and Daniel McBride and 22 great grandchildren.

In addition to his beloved wife, Nelda G. Wyndham and his parents, Ossie was predeceased by his sons, Timmy McBride and Steve Wyndham and six brothers.

Ossie’s life will continue to be celebrated daily by his family as other services will be delayed at this time.
