Ouida Dean Mabrey Hilderbran, 65, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 in Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC. Ouida was born in Dublin, GA on February 09, 1948 to the late William L. Pournell and Ruby Mae Green Pournell. She was a Waitress having been employed by Shoney's of Hilton Head and Hardeeville and Howard Johnson's of Hardeeville. She was a Methodist and she enjoyed cooking and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Ronald P. Hilderbran of Ridgeland, SC; sons, Robert Joel Mabrey (Sharon) and Michael Jason Mabrey (Lisa), all of Ridgeland, SC; William Lloyd Mabrey (Sarah) of Illinois; brother, J. R. "Buster" Pournell of Wrightsville, GA; sisters, Frieda Watkins (Earnest) of Wrightsville, GA; Frances Holly (Glenn) of Greenville, SC; Veronica Sue Boyles of Mt. Airy, NC; six grandchildren, Steven Mabrey, Catherine Mabrey, Mikey Mabrey, Taylor Mabrey, Joseph Mabrey and William Mabrey.
