Palmer Russell Ballard

Palmer Russell Ballard, 69, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his home.He was born in Rock Hill, SC on July 26, 1940. He was the son of the late Jimmie L. and Willie Beatrice Shehan Ballard.He was retired from the US Air Force and he was a veteran of Viet Nam. He was an airplane mechanic and specialized in hydraulics. He attended St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.He is survived by his sons, Douglas Ballard, Darrin Ballard and his wife, Darla, and Damon Ballard and his wife, Crystal all of San Antonio, TX; one daughter, Susan Denise (DD) Lana and her husband, Bill of Jolon, CA; one brother, Jackson Ballard of Sharon, SC; four sisters, Beatrice Bolin of McConnell, SC, Emmie (Sumter) Brown of Rock Hill, SC, Marcella Neal of Myrtle Beach, SC and Mildred Childers of Bluffton, SC.
