Pamela Sue Melisko

Pam was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in St. John, Indiana. She graduated from Bishop Noll High School in 1970. She studied nursing at Purdue University Indiana and earned her BSN at Lake Superior State College, MI. She is survived by her beloved husband Gary, sister Carol Kovanic, niece Veronica Hansen, nephew Joseph Kovanic.

Pam was pre-deceased by her daughter Amanda Guess. She is the former spouse of Jim (Kathie) Guess. Pam was sister-in-law to Diane and Debra Melisko.

Over 25 years of Pam’s nursing career was at Northern Michigan Regional Hospital, Petoskey, MI.

Pam was known as a sweet lady by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed golf, bocce-ball, dining out with neighbors and shopping. She also enjoyed Hallmark movies and the Christmas season.

A memorial service will be at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church on April 9, 2025, at 10:30 AM in Bluffton, SC. The service will be live-streamed.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
