Parniece Mccormack Richardson

Parniece McCormack Richardson, 90 of Ridgeland, SC and widow of J. A. Richardson, Jr. passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Ridgeland, SC on August 26, 1923 to the late Leland Stanley and Virginia Elizabeth Nettles McCormack. She was the accountant for a building supply store and construction company, that she and her husband operated in Ridgeland for many years. She was the treasurer for the Savannah River Baptist Association from 1977 - 1991. She was the WMU Director at Ridgeland Baptist Church from 1963-1966 and 1976-1982; Baptist women president from 1982-2002; women on missions coordinator from 2003-2012; member of senior adult ladies Sunday school class all at Ridgeland Baptist Church. She was the auxiliary sister of the Gideons International; and a member of the Jasper County Historical Society. She is survived by her son, Norman Kelley Richardson (Mary Jane) of Ridgeland; daughter Betty Jeannine Richardson Malphrus (Bobby) of Ridgeland; brothers, Rudolph L. McCormack (Bill) of Ridgeland; sister in law ,Tena McCormack of Ridgeland; sister, Ruth McCormack Whitimore Rountree Guillory of Ridgeland and Alice Rebecca McCormack Malphrus (Dwaine) of Ridgeland; grandchildren, Aurelia Koschel (Reiny), Rob Malphrus (Anna), John Lee Malphrus (Tricia), Norm Richardson (Linda) and Amy Ballagh (Brian) and eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband; her brothers, Wickman Ray McCormack and George McCormack. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Ridgeland Baptist Church, Ridgeland with burial in the Ridgeland Cemetery. The family requests memorial gifts be made in memory of Parniece Richardson to the Ridgeland Baptist Church, Debt Retirement Fund, 1448 Grays Highway, Ridgeland, SC 29936. 11:00 am , Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Ridgeland Baptist Church with burial in Ridgeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 til 8 on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home , 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland.
