Patricia Gerth

Patricia Gerth, 92, a longtime resident of Hilton Head Island, SC since 1964 passed away Monday, November 03, 2014. Patricia was born on March 17, 1922 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Norman Shrigley and Gladys Anundson Shrigley. She was a member of Hilton Head Presbyterian Church. She loved the beach, but most importantly, she loved her family. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Albert Gerth and her son, Paul M. Gerth. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Gerth (Joni Hester) of Hilton Head Island and David Gerth (Barbara) of Lexington, SC; daughter, Andrea Gerth Farmer (Donnie) of Hilton Head Island; grandchildren, Lisa Farmer Stewart, Jennifer Farmer, Kelly Gerth Kennerly, Ryan D. Gerth, Kathleen Gerth Johnson, Robert Gerth, Rhett Gerth, and April Gerth Stump; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Six Oaks Cemetery, Hilton Head Island, SC. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Tidewater Hospice, the American Cancer Society, or the American Diabetes Association. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 â
