Patrina Marie Grecco

Bluffton

Patrina (Trina) Marie Grecco of Bluffton, South Carolina, passed away on October 12, 2026.

Her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the countless people whose lives were made better simply by knowing her. Her warmth, unwavering optimism, and love for those around her left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Born on February 6, 1970, in Lansing, Michigan, Trina was the beloved daughter of Patricia Louise Russo of Buffalo, New York.

She is survived by her sons, Ethan Thaddeus (Emily) and Edward Ty; her mother, Pattie Lou; her sister, Tracy (Greg); her nephews, Quintin, Adam, and Will Rowley of Bluffton, South Carolina; her granddaughter, Ella May; aunts, uncles, and cousins in Buffalo, New York, Hendersonville, North Carolina, and Palm Beach Garden Florida; and countless dear friends stretching from Rochester, New York, to the Lowcountry and beyond.

To know Trina was to love her. Her positive outlook on life never wavered, even in the face of heartbreaking setbacks. She always had a smile to share and a kind word for everyone. A true optimist, she had a remarkable ability to find joy in life and bring happiness to those around her. She had a contagious laugh that made everyone around her laugh, too.

Her world began and ended with her boys. A devoted mother, Trina moved to the Lowcountry in 1993 and raised both of her sons in Bluffton. Thad and Ty shared her love for the low country. Trina was deeply involved in the Lowcountry community, where she and her boys built lifelong friendships through May River Montessori and St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Some of her most treasured memories were deep-sea fishing with her boys, the water, and simply spending time together. She loved her barre classes, her work, and, above all, the people who filled her life with friendship and love.

Professionally, Trina was dedicated to serving others as a Realtor and Transition Coordinator with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Bay Street Realty Group in Beaufort. Her commitment to her work reflected the same care and compassion she brought to every part of her life.

Trina also had a gift for bringing people together, especially around the dinner table. Like a true Italian, she believed dinner was not complete without a six-course homemade meal. Sunday dinners, birthdays, and holidays were among her favorite occasions, but she never needed a special occasion to cook. Any excuse was a good one if it meant gathering her family together. Those meals were about so much more than food; they were about love, laughter, tradition, and time spent with the people who mattered most.

And then there were the Georgia Bulldogs. Trina was a devoted fan, and on any given Saturday, you could find her decked out in black and red, cheering on her beloved Dawgs. It was a passion she proudly passed down to her sons. Go Dawgs!

Above all, Trina will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her enduring optimism, her generous spirit, and the joy she brought into the lives of so many. Though her absence leaves a space that can never be filled, the memories she created, the traditions she cherished, and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, South Carolina, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. to share memories, laughter, and tears as they gather to celebrate and remember their beloved Trina.
