Patti McGee MacDonald

Patti MacDonald died peacefully April 29th surrounded by those who loved her most.

Originally from Tucker, Georgia, Patti moved to the area in 1987. She attended Emory University and received her BSN. She spent her last 39 years working at Memorial Health in Savannah as an RN and then as Nurse Practitioner.

Patti is survived by her mother Rose McGee, her husband, Scott, daughters Molly (Matthew Shoemaker), Maeve (Jon Kammerer), and Maureen. Her father, William has met her in heaven.

Patti leaves 5 beautiful grandchildren who will miss playing with their “Pappy”. She lived in Buckingham Landing for 39 years next door to family, Mike & Susanne MacDonald and 3 nephews.

Patti was a devout Catholic, a cousin to many and a friend to all. Patti had a contagious laugh and such a joyful spirit. The world is going to miss her beautiful smile, and her beautiful garden is going to miss her.

A funeral mass will be held Friday, May 8 at 2 PM at Saint Francis by the sea Catholic Church, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

A small reception immediately following at the St Francis Family Center will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diocese of Charleston Office of Vocations for the Seminarians.
