Paul Dobrin, age 62, of Hilton Head Island, SC and formerly of Lockport, NY died Saturday, November 3, 2018 at home.

Mr. Dobrin was born on May 31, 1956 in Forest Hills, NY, the son of the late Leo Dobrin, MD and Margaret Dobrin. He earned a degree in Economics from the University of Buffalo and continued his formal education at Columbia University, earning his MBA. He began his career as a systems analyst in the banking industry and continued as a systems analyst with the NYU Medical Center. He was currently the President and CEO of Time-Frames.com which specialized in high-quality, made-to-order, personalized photo collage frames with a wide variety of themes. Outside of work, Paul was an avid gardener. He was also a semi-professional photographer. He spent his final days creating his Flickr page which is filled with his favorite photos. Paul also was a BIG animal lover who adored all of his cats but he especially loved his Golden Retrievers.

Mr. Dobrin is survived by his wife, Karen Dobrin; brother, Dr. David Dobrin, MD, his wife, Angela and their daughter, Julianna; sister, Linda Dobrin Szalay and her son, Jamey; sister, Joan Dobrin, her husband, David Sherman and their son, Scott; as well as a host of cousins and extended family. Paul was preceded in death by his favorite dog, Brooklyn.

A memorial service is being planned in Lockport, NY at a later date. The details of that service will be announced once finalized.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) or the National Canine Cancer Foundation
