Paul Cornelius Kincheloe, Jr.

April 3, 1941 — June 28, 2025

Paul Cornelius Kincheloe, Jr.  of Beaufort, SC and formerly of McLean, Virginia died at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Washington D.C. in 1941 and raised on a dairy farm in Burke Virginia.  Paul attended St. Stephens School in Alexandria, Randolph Macon College and graduated with a JD from TC Williams School of Law of the University of Richmond in 1967.  Paul started practicing law with the firm of Hazel, Beckhorn and Hanes.  He later established the law firm of Kincheloe and Schneiderman.

He enjoyed deep sea fishing and running his boat from the Chesapeake Bay in Md through the inland waterway, enjoying the small, family-owned marinas and the people he met along the way in Coinjock, NC., Brunswick, Ga. to Eau Gallie and the Palm Beaches of Florida, where it was an “easy” run to his favorite island in the Bahamas, Walkers Cay.

He was active on the St. Stephens Board of Governors, the Randolph Macon Board of Trustees as well as a founder and director Emeritus at Flint Hill School in Oakton, Virginia,  He was a past member of The Cherrydale United Methodist Church in Arlington,  Virginia; The Society of Colonial Wars, Dominion Boat Club in Alexandria, Va. and a member of the Virginia State Bar Association for over 50 years.  He had been a Municipal Judge in the City of Fairfax.   He was a long -time member and Past President of The Washington Golf and Country Club in Arlington, Va. He served as President of The Ocean City Marlin Club in Ocean City, Maryland for three years.  He was the first non-Marylander to do so.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Paul C. Kincheloe and his mother Elizabeth Bradley Kincheloe Stull and is survived by his wife of 46 years, Margaret R and two sons, Paul C Kincheloe III and wife Angela of Woodbridge, Va.; Conner Kincheloe and wife Callie of Beaufort ,SC; and daughter Ashley Dyson and her husband Patrick Dyson, two granddaughters, Sadie and Julia of New York City;  two grandsons Paul C. Kincheloe IV and wife Jenn of Catlett, Virginia and  Nicolas Kincheloe of Woodbridge Va.  and two great grandchildren.  Internment at Fairfax Cemetery, Fairfax, Virginia and a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to be held in Arlington, Va.
