Paul Vernon Koberg

Paul Vernon Koberg, 88, of Bluffton, SC, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 in the Carolina House of Bluffton.He was born in Oswego, NY on April 21, 1920. He was the son of the late Adam Leonard and Louise Koberg.He was retired from the government printing office in Washington, DC. He was a member of the Okatee Baptist Church and a 50 year member of the Hardeeville Masonic Lodge. He served in the US Coast Guard during World War II.He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Anne Shuman of Concord, CA; two nephews, Leonard M. Koberg of Accokeek, MD and Christopher A. Koberg of Burke, VA; two brothers in law, Lonnie M. (Shirley) Beach of Walterboro, SC and Albert K. Beach of Bluffton, SC; two sisters in law, Mary B. Fell of Ridgeland, SC and Louise B. (Henry) Padgett of Bluffton, SC.Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 19, 2008 in the Bluffton Cemetery, Bluffton, SC. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until the hour of the service at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
