Paul N. Reinhard, 78, of Bluffton, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025, at home. He was born in Queens, New York, on April 9, 1946. Paul was a National Merit Scholar and graduate of Freeport High School (1964). Upon graduation, he attended SUNY Stony Brook prior to enlisting with the United States Air Force where he rose to the rank of Sergeant serving in the United States and Libya. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism and extraordinary achievement on September 28, 1969, wounded while single-handedly saving the lives of his crew and his aircraft during an enemy ambush. After graduating from Methodist University (North Carolina), he had a successful career in public relations and management consulting for Shell, Capital One, Compaq, Burger King, Wrangler, Wachovia, Wyatt, and TPF&C. In his retirement, he enjoyed model-building and serving as First Vice Commander for American Legion Post 205. Husband of Janice for 57 years; brother of Stephen (Jackie); father of Andrew (Jayni) and Colin; grandfather of Rhiannon, Cameron, and Claire.

No visitation.

The memorial service and burial will be held on Thursday, February 6, at 11:00, Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, South Carolina.
