Paul George Stadler

Paul George Stadler, 70 of Bluffton, SC died Saturday, December 11, 2010. Paul was born August 26th, 1940 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Ervin A. and Rosemary Stadler. A graduate of St. Xavier High School, and the University of Notre Dame, he was a lifelong follower of Notre Dame Football and active in the Notre Dame Club of Lexington. He initially retired in Lexington, KY after working for IBM for 25 years. A life long runner, he recently placed 1st in the over 70 division of local 5K races. He and his wife retired to Bluffton SC where he enjoyed landscaping, daily walks, genealogy, and driving his convertible.He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Patricia, children: Debbie (Troy) of Cleveland OH, Christine (Mike), Laura, and Steven all of Lexington, Sister Suzanne Thompson (Sacramento, CA), Brothers Richard Stadler (Carmel, IN), Tom Stadler (New Canaan, CT) and John Stadler (Cincinnati, OH).Grandchildren Megan, Drew, Danielle, Grace, Xavier, and Max. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Rd., Bluffton at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 15, 2010. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am prior to the service at the church.
