Paul Martin Zasky

Paul Martin Zasky, loving husband and father passed away on November 30, 2021 in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Paul was born on July 21, 1937 in New York City to Rose and Hyman Zasky.  He attended The Bronx High School of Science and went on to receive his Bachelor of Science from The City University of New York and a Masters in Industrial Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.  Paul was the Chief Operating Officer at Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, New York and raised his family in Chestnut Ridge, New York before moving to South Carolina in 2010.

He was an avid skier and met many of his lifelong friends on the slopes, not to mention the woman who would become his wife of 53 years.  Summers were spent with his family and friends on Goose Pond in The Berkshires.  He loved to travel the world, camera close at hand, traversing all seven continents over the course of his life.  His favorite was Africa, which he visited nine times.  His photographs of elephants, lions and cheetahs adorn the family home and were a source of enormous pride.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 6 at Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton, South Carolina.
