On January 14 Paula was called home to heaven after a brief illness.
And the Angels sang
Paula was born on July 27, 1959 in Philadelphia PA. She grew up in Media where she was educated in the Rose Tree Media School District. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1979. She was trained at Elwyn Institute and through their programs worked throughout the area. During the first Gulf War, Paula helped assemble medals for the returning heroes. After her father’s death in 1996, Paula and her mother moved to Bluffton. She was an active member of Programs for Exceptional People until 2017. She was an artist. She loved making pottery, embroidering, painting and later on, coloring. Paula was a gentle soul and a devout Catholic. She is survived by her brother Michael, sister in law Sandra, and nephew Mikey of Bluffton. Paula spent the last 12 years living with her family in Bluffton. I’ll miss you little sister, but I hear you in the choir. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers please send remembrances to Programs for Exceptional People and Heroes on Horseback so they can continue to serve our special needs community.
