Pearl McQueen Ingram, 93, widow of F. M. Ingram, Jr., passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at her home in Ridgeland, SC.
She was born in Galivants Ferry, SC on April 12, 1922 to the late Samuel and Costie Johnson McQueen.
She was a homemaker; former school teacher; former social worker for Jasper County Department of Social Services; Graduate of Coker College, class of 1944 and a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Ridgeland, SC.
She is survived by her sons, Hudson (Jan) Ingram of Bluffton, SC; Frederick (Karen) Ingram of Ridgeland, SC; daughters, Laura (Thomas) Smith of North Myrtle Beach, SC; Myra (Andrew) Collins of Ridgeland, SC; Linda (Charles Rubin) Ingram of Brays Island, SC; sister, Carolyn Hallman of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, John (Carla) Collins, Candice (Jason) Childress, Hope (Joe) Connolly, Fletcher (Erica) Smoak; George (Lisa) Smith, Jason Cope, Brandon (Stephanie) Ingram, Jordan Ingram, fourteen great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Grover McQueen, Bill McQueen and Sam McQueen; sisters, Ruth, Virginia and Aleva and her grandson, Frederick M. Ingram, IV.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 26, 2015 at Ridgeland Cemetery in Ridgeland, SC. Memorial donations may be made in her honor to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, PO Box 550, Ridgeland, SC 29936.
